The PDC Qualifying School consists of four tournaments. By Qualifying School 32 Tour Cards for the PDC Pro Tour are allocated. All the semifinalsts
of the four tournaments get one, the last eight will go to participants in Qualifying School over a special Qualifying School Point Ranking.
The Tour Cards got by the Qualifying School are valid for two years. Only when you have got a Tour Card you are able to play the PDC Players Championship
in the UK.
You will not need one to be able to play Non-UK Players Championships or UK Open Qualifiers.
To take part in the Qualifying School you have to pay a fee of 200 pound. Should you get yourself a card the money will be part of the PDPA membership fee for
the first year.
Those players who were under the last 16 of the U 21 World Championship or the PDC Women World Championship will be invited to Qualifying School and don't have to pay a fee.
Every dart player can take part in the Qualifying School, by taking part you are not binded in any way - but should you get a Tour Card and want to take it
you have to become a PDPA member and sign a contract with the PDC.
It is not known how the BDO will react to players who took part in the Qualifying School, failed and then want to play the BDO circuit nor what
will happen to BDO players taking part, fail and want to return to the BDO. The BDO never made a statement.

Today the four Tour Cards went to James Richardson, Shane O'Connor, Shaun Griffiths and Dave Chisnall. Shaun Griffiths and Dave Chisnall till now played
on the BDO circuit. Both took part in this years BDO World Championship.

The four Pro Tour cards of the fourth day of the qualifying school were won by Peter Hudson, Mick Todd, Ian Joplin and Prakash Jiwa. Joplin and Jiwa
both already took part in the UK Open while Todd only started to play darts 18 months ago.
To fill up the Tour Card field to 128 players the last Cards were handed out according the Qualifying School ranking to Andy Brown, Adam Smith-Neale, Mark Jodrill,
Jason Crawley, Terry Temple, Mark Jones, Ken Dobson, Jimmy Mann und Paul Rowley.
